Q: Are the boxes configured with a top and a bottom that are separate or attached? I need to know that it is a separate Lid from the bottom and not attached.

Awful chemical, residue causing skin reactions
After opening the plastic packaging, the boxes had chemical smell with some kind of dust or residue. My hands immediately became itchy with a small rash. The itchiness/skin irritation felt identical to getting fiberglass insulation on your skin. The irritation on my hands lasted 48hrs even after repeated hand washing. I set these boxes aside to throw away in which my neighbor took them, used one to put a shirt for her young daughter for Christmas gift. Her daughter ended up with same itchy skin irritation on her back. Target is my go to for everything. I've bought these boxes many times in past years. I never had this problem before.. this year, xmas 2023, these boxes are for more flimsy, almost useless, alot smaller, even the "robe box" is only big enough to fit lingerie or children's clothes & whatever residue is on these boxes is disgusting. I will never but these boxes again, you can find better at the dollar store! Target please bring back the old boxes!
