Q: Is the height from floor to the top of the back really 29.5 inches? That seems low and the math doesn't add up with a seat height of 18.9 and seat back of 14.5.

A: Dear Customer, thank you for reaching out about your interest in our product. Our product dimension image is accurate (minor deviations may occur with manual measurements). We recommend referring directly to the dimension image for the dimension information. Regarding the discrepancy you noticed: the 14.5-inch seat back height refers to the slanted length of the backrest, not the vertical height from the top of the seat to the top of the backrest. This is why adding the 18.9-inch seat height gives a total that appears higher than the vertical floor-to-top-of-back measurement of 29.5 inches.
