Good looking, but not comfortable
The back lacked the cushioning that I expected from this company

green and classic
I wanted a green loveseat, and found one. Takes about 10 minutes to put together. Firm feel, but I prefer that. Nice clean look, smooth fabric feel. Cat approved too

Easy to assembly, great for 1st apmt or dorm room
I was hoping to add this loveseat to my living room, thus being able to pass on my existing loveseat to a niece, for her dorm room; but ended up giving her the Zinus Loveseat – more later. First, it arrived in a well-designed and packaged box (53.54 x 31.1 x 34.65), a large size, weighing in around 65 pounds, so it took two of us to move it into the house. Once in, I unwrapped it and found it had been packed very securely, however the two back cushions were wrapped to tightly, thus causing them to be deeply wrinkled and grooved. Which after six-days of being unwrapped, they are still the same; very disappointing. The instructions for the assembly are large in size and easy to follow; it took me five-minutes to assembly, no tools required; ten pieces. Best to have two people, but one can manage the assembly. A side note, to attach the two back cushions to the loveseat, be sure to pull off the two Velcro cloth strips on the back of the loveseat; one for each cushion (foam and fiber filling). Once assembled, you have to sit on it a few times to get it all set in place. The back cushions feel a bit thin; I was wishing they were twice their current thickness. I’m still getting a soft crunching noise, like paper, as I sit in the loveseat, though this may go away after some use, time will tell. The polyester fabric is fine, a bit crisp and smooth; should hold up with pets and kids. I would have preferred the seams at the top of the left/right arms were more on the side, then on top, just feels and looks a bit odd. The plastic legs which screw on, felt a bit flimsy when installing, but once installed, felt firm and solid. The completed size is 62” long x 29” wide x 33” tall; seat height is 17” and depth is 22.5”. It comes with a one-year manufacturers warranty against defects, not abuse. I did try to call the company with their provided 800 number, hoping to get a better understanding of the excessive deep wrinkles and groves in the back cushions, but after 10 minutes of listen to music, I hung up. The overall loveseat has a contemporary look, which I like, but the wrinkled cushions and weak back filling has helped me to make a decision, to pass this on to my niece for her dorm room; she is happy with my decision.

ehhhh... okay.
okay, i'm not some late-20's mommy blogger who got this for free in exchange for an "honest review", so i'm going to be honest, because i paid money for this. i have a 12" memory foam mattress and platform bed from Zinus, so when i needed a small loveseat to fit in my small studio apartment and didn't want to spend more than $300, Zinus made sense. to be blunt: it's not great. the back cushions aren't very thick. the couch seat itself is very firm, and sounds like it's wrapped in plastic-- a bit crinkly when you sit down. the whole couch is a bit wobbly, because it's held together by a tongue-and-groove-esque assembly; no screws or bolts or nails or anything to keep the pieces together solidly. it wiggles side-to-side ever so slightly when you sit. the arms are very short. the fabric is fine, will probably hold up to a bit of abuse from children and pets if that's what your situation is. now, i've assembled a LOT of furniture in my day, and have even built my own from raw materials, so i'm not some chump who can't hold a screwdriver. i guarantee this is assembled exactly as it should be, and even double- and triple-checked to be sure. even so, it's not the most confidence-inspiring piece of furniture i own. if this is going to sit in a guest room, child's bedroom, den, office, etc... fine. as a main couch/loveseat? look elsewhere. yes, it assembles in 10 minutes, and that may seem like a great thing, but... good things take time. if someone took an hour to assemble your car, you probably wouldn't trust it driving down the road. same goes for this. i'll keep it for now, because i already spent the money, but as soon as i can justify the expense of something better, this one is out the door.
