A Cafe Rod is not a Curtain Rod
These cafe rods are an inexpensive option to expensive brass for hanging the short lightweight cafe-style curtains they're sold for. My cafe curtains are 24" long and 28" wide. I attached this rod across the middle of each of my laundry windows. I used cafe curtain ring clips on the rod so the curtains look cute but also slide open or closed easily. It's too bad others give this cafe rod a poor rating when they're not using them for the light weight cafe-style curtains they're intended for!

Poor quality
The item was shipped from "returns department". The item came scrathed and the coloring is far less gold than the picture. Will be returning for both reasons.

Pretty junky for the price
I bought this curtain rod in the longer length. Looks wise, it looks nice, but that’s about it. It’s very lightweight, the color scratches super easily and the rod just seems flimsy and cheap. The finials have a pretty visible seam too. These might be ok if you’re hanging sheet curtains that you don’t open/close a lot. I have velvet ones on it and I’m not sure they will hold up. I’d return it but I didn’t realize how junky this was until I put it was up on the wall. The screws were crappy too and the thread got messed up so I’m not sure I can even remove it now if I wanted to.I have curtain rods from Target all over my house, purchased between the 2000’s and more current and they are definitely a much better quality. For the low quality of these, these should not be offered in a longer length.
