Q: What is the height of each shelf? I know the shelves are adjustable, but want to make sure there is at least 13" between each. The photo albums I am putting on them are 12" high by 12" deep.

A: With the shelves put at equal distances the top opening would be 13 1/8 h. The middle and bottom opening would each be 12 5/8" h.

Q: The Carson bookcase states in the item info its frame is hardwood, this bookcase states particle board. This one looks nicer and cost more. Is it better quality?

A: The 3 Shelf Bookcase is made of an environmentally friendly material called “engineered wood.” It’s a combination of high-quality hard wood and soft wood residuals of other lumber processes. Excellent purchase
I bought two three shelf bookshelves. I bought oiled oak. They are next to each other. One holds my tv and one row of books. Well designed, excellent instructions, easy to build. This style fits perfectly with both my mid century modern pieces and traditional pieces. I cannot recommend them enough. I don't believe you will be sorry if you purchase.

Packaging could be improved for the small pieces(pre-sorted/separated)…but all the pieces were present. The final results (after assembly) are 👍😊

Love Sauder
I love the Laurel Oak finish. Have both dresser's, desk, 4 end tables. 2 for end table in the living room and 2 for night stands in bedroom., and now the 3 shelf bookcase. All are well built and heavier than you would expext from put together furniture. Thanks Sauder

Great bookshelf for the price
Super easy to put together and looks great! Shipping was quick, took me about 45 minutes to put together alone, not hard at all. I had a weird nook that needed a bookshelf and this was the perfect size.
