  • A: The max opening on this clamp is 3.5 inches. So yes, it should fit a 3" thick railing.

No instructions

This product was delivered with no installation/mounting instructions. There are two bolts. One of them looks like a stabilizer but am at a loss for its actual function. Additionally, the image pictured for this product showing it mounted on a deck rail…is photoshopped. I feel duped.
