Super disappointed with these! They each take 4 AA batteries which seemed excessive but I figured they wouldn’t need batteries for the rest of my life since they are only tiny LEDs. Well after only 3 weeks of use all 6 of mine are dead and there’s no way I’m willing to put 24 more batteries in to get them going again

2025 batch poorly made!
Let me start off saying that I absolutely LOVE these star ligts, they are a gorgeous addition to my outdoor Christmas decorations (I’m always getting compliments about them from my neighbors!). Anyway, I’ve been purchasing this product for five Christmas seasons (5+years) and I usually purchase one box per year (they've always been retailed at $30) so I can eventually have them hanging around the whole house. Sadly, the retail price increased to a steep $45! Thankfully, I was able to snag them on sale for $30 (even though that's what they normally retailed for before 2025!!). The high price tag isn't the only issue I have… this year's batch has severe quality issues: one of them lit up only 1/4 of the star. Upon inspection, I found that the light wire is severed which is concerning since they were brand new out of the box. I first thought that maybe I was unlucky and was the only one to open a defective product, but reading through the recent reviews, I see that I am not the only one who had broken wires. In conclusion, my advice to anyone considering purchasing these stars is to skip this buying this product as I believe this year‘s batch is poorly made and not worth the high price tag of $45!!!

Bad Product
One of the stars in the pack we bought does not work. These are also advertised as "warm white" but are a cool white instead. Not a great product especially for how much they are charging.

Marketing Misinformation. 4" smaller than described.
The description says these are 12” lighted stars. In actuality, they are only 8”. And they are nothing more than fairy lights wrapped around 3 small wire frames, each requiring 3 batteries. 9 batteries total. Certainly not worth the $27 sales price I paid, let alone the regular price of $45. Returning.

I should have read the reviews before buying. The huge battery pack for each star makes it difficult to hang. Also each battery pack requires 4 batteries. Don't waste your money.

A waste of batteries
These are very pretty and light up very nicely at night plus I do like the many lighting options. However, the fact that each star takes 4 batteries coupled with an obnoxiously obscene battery pack makes it very difficult to hang. I purchased 2 boxes but I definitely will not purchase this again in the future unless they change the design.

so simple and pretty!
I hung six of these from my porch ceiling using command hooks. First, i twisted the wires to make each hang at a slightly different length to create a staggered effect. Last year, Energizer Max batteries lasted from Black Friday all the way into mid-January. I took them down when they started to fade and just threw in fresh batteries for this year and they all seem to be working again good as new!
