Very pretty and solid lamp, works well for reading due to the adjustable frame. The usb port is in the back with the cord which is awkward. It would be easier to access if it was in the front by the on off switch. Happy with this purchase.

Fatal flaw

This lamp was perfect for my needs EXCEPT that its adjustability depends on hand tightened wing nuts. I tightened them as much as I could, over and over, and each time the weight of the shade caused the top arm to unexpectedly crash down on the table. Could stay put 1 hour or as much as 8 hours, but it always crashed. Dealbreaker, had to return it.

Perfect for my professional desk.

Wow. I work from home and my room has always had dark corners. I've been working with overhead lighting and just could not get enough light in the room. It's a north room. Now, I have this beautiful lamp that has a large span to light across both monitors. It's perfect. And it's beautiful. I was worried it would look chotchke brass, but it is not. It is a beautiful warm antique gold, just perfect. It will be classic and last for generations. Great quality.

Best desk lamp!

Just the right size. Base, height and shade. Sturdy without being too heavy. Adjustable neck makes for a unique design as well as direct light focus. I couldn’t be happier. I purchased others from lighting stores and this is WAY more attractive and functional.

My lamp doesn't look like the pictures

Somehow the lamp I ordered is not brass all over. The arms and base are black. Other than that it appears to work fine and was easy to get set up. I'm not returning it because it isn't worth the hassle but do be warned of this issue.

Recent order of Wray Brass Desk Lamp

I recently ordered this lamp for my husband who has macular degeneration and was having a problem with a regular lamp. The fact that this lamp is adjustable makes life much less stressful for him. We are both very happy with our purchase and would certainly recommend both Wray lamps and LampsPlus.
