Lamps are smaller than what a typical lamp would be for a den side table

I love everything about these lamps. I've had them for at least a year now. They are very modern looking and provide so much light to the area behind my sofa. When my light bulb blew out in my bedroom, I moved one lamp into the bedroom and it worked well on the nightstand too although a larger lamp would be best for the nightstand

The lamp shade was crooked and the brown looked like cheap spray paint. Returned upon arrival.

I like the look of these lamps, however I have a couple of issues with them. First, the piece the shade rests on on top of the harp is crooked on both lamps, so both of the shades looked crooked. I put a paper clip under one side of each shade before screwing on the ball on the top to even them out. Second, one of the shades has a dent in it. It's on the back side, near the seam, so it's not visible, but I hope it doesn't end up getting scorched from being too close to the light bulb. Will have to keep an eye on it.

So perfect! I would have loved these if they had more of a black base. I took a chance because I liked them so much and the price was GREAT! Unfortunately, the color was too off.
