  • A: Hi - yes, the maximum wattage bulb this lamp can use is a 100 watt, but you can always use a lower wattage bulb, 40 watts, 60 watts and so on. Thank you for the question.

Q: is the lamp and shade a pure white or off white?

  • A: Hi - the shade fabric does have a slight weave to it, so it does not read as pure white. Remember too that your choice of light bulbs will change the look of the shade when the bulb is illuminated. Thank you for the question.

  • A: Hi - no, this design does not use a 3-way bulb, just a standard maximum 100 watt bulb. If you are looking for the functionality of a 3-way bulb with this design, we would suggest using it with a cord dimmer. With the dimmer you'll be able to adjust the light to many more settings than a 3-way bulb. Hope this answers your question and gives you an idea. Thank you for asking!

Narrow Oval Lamp

Good lamp for console/sofa tables or any space that doesn't accommodate a larger round shape . The white base and shade contrast nicely against colored walls. Versatile and attractive.

Modern, beautiful lamp

This lamp is beautiful. I used it to replace an older lamp that needs to be rewired. I replaced the shade with one with a design that I already had. The only minor issue I found is the round finial is obscured a little by the shade. I used a taller one I had from another lamp.

Beautiful lamp

Love this lamp. It’s great quality and looks beautiful. Using it for my bedroom and it’s wonderful. The shade is a lighter color and gives off light very nicely. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Lamp

I absolutely love this lamp. Very modern....love the size, the lampshade shape! My only comment is the typographical error in the tag that was on the lamp. Thought I should make you aware of it so that the Marketing department can correct!! I tried to upload a photo but it wouldn't upload. The word "accomodate" is misspelled. Thanks again.

Table Top Lamps

I have been searching for lamps that are less expensive than $200 and found this on the Target website. It looks pricier than it is and fits perfectly in my bedroom. It looks modern without being cold and can handle up to a 100 watt bulb...I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Very nice lamp!

Love this lamp! It is very well made and was easy to assemble. It arrived in perfect condition. I like the clear cord and that the excess cord can be stored in the lamp base. I would definitely recommend this lamp!
