This is my "go-to" light for residential projects where I'm working with a developer (I'm an architect). The light does a good job of directing some illumination onto the walls so that the room feels bright. It's not as bright as we hoped but good for the price.

Changing the bulb was a bit troublesome especially since there were no instructions provided that I could find. It looks simple to do until you hit a snag. You need to rotate the inner glass dome counter clockwise a little and it will come out easy. Unfortunately if any dust gets in between the glass dome and the metal it will be stuck and won't rotate at all like mine wouldn't. If you don't know this you can get stumped. To fix it, I took a razor knife and ran the blade between dome and metal all around and removed the blockages. After that, the dome rotated easily. Btw, don't rotate clockwise because that will remove the entire unit from the ceiling. The installation of the entire fixture was more difficult than needed because the insulation kept interfering with the precise placement of the ceiling screws into the lamp holes. This is common with a lot of overhead fixtures though.
