Didn’t realize they cost $16 until we brought them home and checked the receipt. Will be returning

Cute, but the little acorns pop off with the slightest disturbance. I was able to hot glue them back on, but no idea how long that will last.

I bought these acorn lights from Target’s $5 section next to the other holiday fairy lights. They were clearly marked $5 on the shelf. Out of the box they looked fine — the battery box itself looks fairly sturdy, and the lights match the front-of-box photo. They’re battery powered, emit a warm, cute glow, and are visually exactly what I expected. Problems began when I tried to put them on my wreath. One of the connecting wires had come disconnected and I had to plug it back in before all the lights would power on. Two of the acorn caps fell off while I was arranging them; I found one cap but never found the other. The caps aren’t consistent — some sit flush, others are raised — which makes them tricky to secure consistently on a wreath. While adjusting the lights a wire broke entirely, and now the whole strand is dead. For a $5 impulse purchase this would have been acceptable if it lasted a season, but I effectively spent $16 on lights that stopped working during setup. That’s poor durability and quality control. These are good for light-duty decorative use only in a place where they won’t be handled or adjusted much — otherwise you risk breaking the wire. Recommendation: due to the fragility and the price, I do not recommend them.

They had these lights with the $5 wonder shop lights. The price below these lights said $5. The boxes are all the same size and the type of lights are the same. Little Christmas trees, gingerbread men, acorns….well the acorns are not $5 they are $16! I did not notice I had paid that until I got home and gave them to my children. I grabbed three sets thinking they were $5, I would not have paid $16. I feel scammed by Target. The lights themselves are cute. Just a normal battery operated strand of lights. Some of the acorns fall off and won’t stay even after reattaching them. Not happy with target for this one :/

They are cute, a little finicky to get them all facing out. The light is not quite as warm as pictured in the product photos. I put them up with the farmhouse village lights.
