Dresser Drawers are too narrow, not enough space

I love the nightstands. The dresser is a huge disappointment. The drawers are very narrow and there's about 6 inches of space behind them. The drawers are so narrow it they make the dresser unusable. Disappointing when it's fully built and realize I can't move into it because there isn't enough space.
