Soft rug, dissappointing color mismatch

The rug is made of good material and feels very soft underfoot so I was happy with the quality. However, the color was not what I expected at all. I ordered the brown/red option but in person it looks more gray with a purple tint (photos attached). I would return it but the process seems like such a hassle. Overall, I’m really disappointed about the color mismatch even though the rug itself is nice.
