Poor quality, box marked $25 and covered up
Price on the front of the box is $25.00, which was covered up by a white sticker, and now on website for $35.00. Not the same quality as last year. Out of three boxes purchased, one had a starburst that just didn’t work, one had the wire wasn’t connected, and two starbursts had so much glitter glue in the center it could not be shaped/bent to look like an actual starburst without a weird gap in the middle. Love the way these could potentially look but so disappointed in the quality and the price deception.

Broken? Check these instructions before returnig
We have 10 of these that we've used for 3 seasons without issue. Many reviewers report having duds that is not work, which I originally experienced myself. However, I noticed a trick to get them working. The batteries fit tightly in the plastic box, which can prevent the battery from touching the metal contacts within the battery holder (the non spring side). Once I noticed this, I was able to nudge the battery towards the contact which completed the circuit. They worked like a charm after that! If you're having trouble with these, check that the AA batteries are making contact! Might save you a trip to the store to return them.

Cheap and Messy
Besides the high price increase, the lights are very glittery and messy and they are not durable at all. After the first day, one of the starbursts does not even light up anymore and I even used new batteries as well. It’s such a shame how much Target is increasing their prices on Christmas lights and only for it to break very frequently. Please save yourself the trouble and do not purchase this product.

Expensive Glitter Bomb
I bought these in store without reading the reviews or seeing the online description. I will say, had I looked online, I never would have bought these. First of all, they are HEAVILY COVERED in LOOSE glitter. The box says NOTHING about the glitter, just that it's "gold wire". Second of all, I can believe everyone saying there were $12 because the quality is poor for the current $21 point. Save the trouble, don't get these.

Scary pricing but beautiful star!
I love the stars don’t get me wrong but the pricing is crazy this year. Significant price increase over last year
As a previous reviewer stated, last year these lights were around $20 and now they are $35. That is a crazy price increase. The lights use up batteries really quickly and aren't as bright as other brands. But, I have these hanging from 3 trees in the back of my yard and needed a few more for a new tree. They really do look nice, especially in January when it is dreary out. I would not purchase these unless they were on sale, and even then, I'm really disappointed in Target's pricing.
