Great fabric, design not quite as pictured
The fabric for this dress is oh so soft and comfortable. Truly wonderful. The dress design, however, did not work for us. The neck is more like a mini mock-turtle than the round design shown in the pictures. Secondly, the waist is quite high; not exactly an empire waist, but closer to that than to natural waist location, and I did not appreciate this from the photos, but I could tell by looking once I held the garment in my hands. In addition, the way the skirt is sewn to the bodice makes for a substantial seam, and my child found that uncomfortable in general, and absolutely a no-go when located so high up on her torso. With such wonderful fabric, I wish more attention was paid to the construction, as the seams are a deal-breaker on otherwise lovely pieces of clothing.
