Q: Are you using the std tech definitions (a) of "narrow" ruling = 1/4" ? & (b) of 240 PAGES,say, being all surfaces on 120 SHEETS? Your text must be careful, since a huge % of people think pages=sheets!

A: Still need to fix the vital BASICS users look for – in the name (240 pages, NOT sheets, OR 120 sheets!) & in "Description" (WHAT ruling: narrow, college, &c., &/or inches+mm). Tx.

I'm in my Sage Green era
It's a beautiful design. I absolutely hate text on the front of my journals, but I supposed it blended enough with the gold that it was worth it compared to many other options. Marker ribbons also tend to bother me but I suppose I could cut it out if I really wanted. I had a particular goal for this journal in mind, so having the small date slot at the top of the pages actually sold it for me in this case. The feel of it is really lovely especially for the price, ruined only by the large barcode sticker which I gingerly removed yet still leaves glue. I passed some goo gone over it, not even soaked, and it came off easy but now it shines in that spot. You win some you lose some.

Thin, dark, narrow-lined paper
I was disappointed in the paper quality. It is very thin, more appropriate to a notebook than a journal. The cover design is cute, but it needs to have a pocket in the rear cover. I'm also disappointed that all the Threshold journals in this series are lined, and the lines are dark brown at that and this particular journal has very narrowly spaced lines which are useless yet too dark to be ignored. Threshold really needs to get with the times and offer dot-grid which is preferred by most journalers. I journal daily and typically only use dot grid or graph, or blank, but I thought maybe the lines would be subtle enough not to be a distraction. They are very dark and i have large handwriting so it wouldn't work with the lines being so dark. Also, I use a wide variety of colored pens, and the brown is too dark and would clash with a lot of page spreads i create. I ordered 12 different styles from this line and all but 1 are going back and that's b/c I'm using that one as a notepad, so I don't care as much.
