Christmas Pup
This adorable display caught our eyes as reminded us of our beloved pup… did not see one in a box so ended up purchasing the display model half off and brought him home to add some Christmas cheer. He’s a groovy little pup that just needed to come home with us this Christmas.

Don't waste your money--terrible quality
String of lights on the outside don’t work. For what I paid for it, I would expect better quality. The head doesn’t stay on well at all. It’s super cute, but terrible quality. I’ll be contacting customer service for a refund.

I wanted this in the past and planned to get it this year.. until I saw it’s now $100. My mom bought it for herself for $70 and it is not worth that at all. Flimsy and not easily assembled. If it drops below $40 I’ll buy. Can’t believe target would double then quadruple the price of this thing.

NOT a good value
Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Certainly not worth the sale price of $60, much less the full retail price of $100. Warning, assembly required which is mostly flimsy I don't know what "fabric". While not difficult to assemble, I wasn't expecting to do that. Probably spent an hour trying to get the lights strung and pieces fit together. Still doesn't look like the online or box images. I ordered online and didn't see it in the store, otherwise I would not have purchased, It's cute, but I don't expect it to hold up beyond this year. Good luck trying to get it unassembled and back in the box without damaging it.

Unbelievable price hike
I bought the discontinued narwhal statue 8 years ago and the lights finally gave out. I still have receipts showing I paid $25 for it back then so I figured ok, I’m sure it’s a little pricier. Saw the price of this one and my jaw dropped. Absolutely no way these are worth $100. They are cute but I wouldn’t pay more than $40 for one. If you want to know why sales are slumping Target, here is exhibit A.

Why can't anyone have realistic decor?
First of all, if I saw a dog running with Christmas lights tangled all around the torso, my immediate thought would be: that is *DANGEROUS*! I understand Christmas is a "🙄 magical time " where people want to forget/ignore the true meaning of it, but can't there ever just be Christmas decor with a normal dog and maybe a bone or a present attached to it? Something realistic that isn't glorifying a fire hazard/trip hazard/choking hazard waiting to happen like with these lights haphazardly slapped across the body of the dog? Let's not also forget: Target raised the price of this, astronomically 🌌🚀👨🚀, so much so that Target should now just be called Aim for the Target by Reaching for the Stars in Outer Space. 🌙🪐🌏 The same amount of money it takes to visit space is basically the same amount of money Target increased their prices by. 🤡

Don't waste your money
Poorly made. The head, hat and body are all separate. There is one cord attached on a spot on each part. On mine, the cord, was not draped over the dog. If I tried to move the cord to drape over the dog the head would fall off. You can move it without the whole thing falling apart. If the cords were longer or not permanently attached to the dog, it would be better. There are also tons of cord inside the head that are tangled up with the outside cord. Trying to get it back in the box to return. It was more frustrating than trying to put it together, so I just threw it away
