[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this pump to drain a branch that was flooded and it worked great for that. It is powerful and definitely moves some water around. It pumps 2100 gallons of water per hour which is mind blowing to me. Very durable and built to last.

I installed the pump on a older fountain and it has really brought it back to life. Very easy to install and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the opportunity to utilize the Alpine Corporation Submersible 2100 GPH Pump in order to drain our hot tub. Each year, we drain this tub 4x, and getting excess water in the divets and seats is such a difficult task. This pump is quite powerful for the purpose, as we were able to remove excess water in under 20 minutes from our tub. The unit hooks easily up to our house for output, although I do wish the unit was slightly quieter. Quality and construction is good, and I can find endless use for this submersible pump during the spring and summertime when we entertain (we have many fountains, pool, hot tub). Terrific pump!

The GPH Hurricane Pump has made a treacherous chore so much easier. The 2100 GPH Pump means that it can power through large quantities of water quickly and the 33 foot cord means no extension cords! The pump is pretty compact and is easy to carry. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suppose that I expected this to be all metal...and heavy...and it is not. That is a plus and a minus when it comes to what I would use this pump for. I like that it lite weight, that it has multiple hose sizes that will fit and that the output hose fitting is movable and rotates. I like that it has an extra heavy duty cord and that it is super long...like half the length of my house long. I like the high capacity of the pump and that it will sit in dirty water and work and has a cleanable strainer. I don't like that it is made of all plastic. I don't like it because it can crack and now I have to be more careful with a pump that I would not have considered being careful with. I also have to worry that the all plastic output spout will get knocked off in use. I like that it saves weight and I like that it makes me feel more safe electrically...but seems to cheapen the product.

It was able to drain my 6000 gallon pool in under 3 hours while pushing water 80 feet to the road. The 33 foot cord was great because o didn’t need an extension cord.
