Dont waste your money
Absolutely not washable! Just washed for the first time and I’ve spent the last hour cleaning out my washer because the backing crumbled off into little pieces like sand. Unacceptable

Better than much more expensive rugs
We have animals so even if I wanted to, wool would not be a smart choice. I spent a lot on runners and rugs that are made of a pet friendly polyester not rayon at a rug specialty store. They're getting fuzzy and months later the runners just won't lay flat at the corners despite taping it to the floor with double sided rug tape. These Threshold runners I bought for heavy duty traffic areas have no problem laying flat and while they're not as plush they are not fuzzing out either. I wish they made other sizes of this pattern, I'd replace the other more expensive longer and wider rugs in a heartbeat. It's warm yet muted, hard to pull that off. Rugs at this price can be very gaudy, not these.
