I bought this rug because it was washable and dryable. I followed the manufacturer's instructions. Wash in cold, dry low. Tiny pieces of rubber backing were in my dryer and in the lint catcher. It was a mess to clean up. The black threaded stitching also unraveled, as well. I do not recommend purchasing this rug unless you want to dry clean it or hand wash it and air dry.
