Dead after 3.5 weeks outside

I haven’t even had this star up for a month now, outside in MN. It says indoor/outdoor. The 1st week it was beautiful, sitting on top of a weeping tree! Now, 3.5 weeks later it is dead. I’m guessing it couldn’t handle the cold. Very disappointed, if they sell a plug in version I’d buy it! Hoping I can return for failure of product!
