16" Plant Grow Light Stake Brass - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

I was lucky to find one of these in store last week. Upon opening, It feels like great quality. Feels sturdy. Better than I expected. Produces good light. I bought it for for ambiance and decoration but also needed extra light inside for a few plants. So I created a spot on top of my dos crate, haha. I think it fancies up the area a little (still working on placement though honestly. But I agree, the cord could be placed better, not off the top maybe... I like how I can dim the light for night, and it being manual turn on and off does not bother me.

I saw this light on clearance and saw that it had good reviews, so I jumped on it without researching it a ton. Sadly, this light has a critical issue: it has no timer, and you can use it with an outlet timer. I have like 50 house plants and a dozen grow lights- those suckers are automated on a smart outlet timer- no way am I turning everything on manually. So sadly, this light is not useful to me because the only way to use it is to physically turn it on and off. It’s a huge design flaw, and I hope they fix it in the future, because it would be great, otherwise. I might straight up butcher the cord to try to change the wiring to make it useful, and hopefully not wreck it.

A nice heavy duty and good quality light for my plants. It looks clean and simple, not too large but really puts out the light. I like that I can adjust the brightness too. I have it in a larger plant with my smaller ones nearby, all seem to be doing well. The hood over the top prevents the light from blinding you and looks nice - no plastic parts! I will eventually be buying a second one. Highly recommend!

Limited to where you can use.. as it requires to be plugged

I have finally become so frustrated with this light that I got rid of it. Yes, it looks pretty and yes the light works. There is no built in timer of any type, and if you connect it to a separate timer, it defualts to "off" and does not turn back on again, so there is no way to automate giving a plant light. The pole is NOT adjustable. It is about 16 inches high and that's what you get. Not adjustable at all. Even though it looks like it should expand, it doesn't. The cable is too short for most locations, especially when it comes to hiding cables, so if you're trying to put it in a place to make it look pretty, you usually can't. It's usually not long enough to reach to an outlet from a table or something, and because the height is not adjustable, it's too small to use on a plant that's big enough to be on the floor. So this is only useful for people who want a pretty looking light in a very specific location that still needs to have the ugly controller visible because you have the manually turn it on/off and it can only be a maximum of 4 ft away from an outlet (controller is halfway directly iniddle of cable).

I love these, my house doesent get a ton of natural light. I put this over 2 African violets with a week bam flowers! They haven’t flowered like this in forever! I love these lights I need more.

barely lights up

I wanted to love this. The look is beautiful and I loved the dimmer option. It was very top heavy. I was putting it in an 8” planter and had to put it deep in the soil and then the light was touching the leaves. Returned it because I didn’t want to deal with the top heavy issue.

Cracked upon arrival

Works great for my indoor herbs as an addition to southern window daylight sun! Especially now tha daylight savings time is here this weekend! Great looking! I connected a timer - super easy!

Love this! Cute and has multiple settings. Seems a little top heavy. Use with power bank for high places far from outlets

Works well for a plant I have in a dark corner of a room. The light appears white, but there are blue and red LEDs in the light to help provide more of a spectrum for plants. I'm not sure if the stake itself will corrode over time in wet soil, but for now, it's great and seems well made.

Shame on me for not reading the specs before buying but at 124 lumens and 3372 Kelvin this does NOT qualify as a grow light.

Love this! Has done a great job providing light for my asparagus fern in a room with low natural light, and it looks great.

This looks very nice and works like a dream. I will definitely be purchasing more of these.
