Better disign would be perfect
Great idea. Yes, some tea leaf “crumbs “ sneak through the insert. But that’s not a big deal. What I have an issue with is the glass mug itself. It doesn’t really keep the tea hot, which is a total deal breaker for me. It would be perfect if the mug itself was made of double walled glass or was even a thick glass.

Beautiful Workhorse Mug
I love this mug so much I purchased a backup. It is durable and functional, the few tea leaves that may sneak through the infuser are negligible. I do usually use this one for my silver needle white tea since the leaves are larger and can be rebrewed several times, I just leave them to dry in the infuser. The infuser is easier to clean than a screen or strainer, IMO.

It is very pretty. I love the size and the wooden lid bottom is covered in silicone to prevent molding. But every single loose leaf tea I have tried goes through the infuser slits. If you are looking for something to use with bags, this will work. But don’t bother if you drink loose leaf. I will still use it, just not with loose leaf.

Not worth it
Just bought a pair of these yesterday love the idea of them as soon as I put the looseleaf tea in there it slipped right through the cracks and the infuser broke less than 24 hours later. I have lots of mugs so to me this was a waste of $13.
