The upper and lower lights can be operated independently. The crystals take on the color hue of the bulbs which can be used to further accentuate decor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the River of Goods 52"W LED Silver Geometric Diamond Shaped Double-Layered Clear K-9 Crystal Ceiling Fan in a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, and we could not be happier with the end result! We swapped out our original plain white ceiling fan without a light and this ceiling fan/light combo adds instant elegance to our master bedroom. Such an incredible ‘WOW Factor’. What we love about this: We followed the instructions provided and the installation was pretty simple as long as you’re comfortable with a bit of electrical work. We really appreciated the features such as 3 different hanging options (flush mount, 4” downrod or 21” downrod). We went with flush mount since our ceiling is a standard 8 foot ceiling. We also like the fact that we have multiple different lighting options: top light on only, bottom light on only, both top and bottom lights on, etc. And we especially love the fact that even though the bulbs are LED, they’re warm while still being bright enough to light up our entire bedroom. It also has some other features that a lot of ceiling fans come with but we still love...reversible blades giving you 2 options for blade colors and the reversible airflow option to change the direction of the blades for winter to carry the warm air down from the ceiling. All of these things make this a great fan. Even with all the crystals, it’s a quiet fan...the motor is quiet and the unit itself is solid. It doesn’t make a sound while running, which is really important to us. A couple things I should note: The ‘crystals’ are not super high quality and they are actually kind of hazy. Even after trying to clean them with some glass cleaner, they still appeared dirty. However, once the fan was installed, you can’t really see the crystals close up to notice this. Be careful if using a power screw gun on some of the screws. The metal of the screws is soft and it’s really easy to strip the heads. This happened to us on both of the provided wood screws that are used to mount the hanging bracket to the ceiling joists. We had to back the screws out and use some of our own. We are absolutely in love with this elegant ceiling fan and how beautiful it looks in our master bedroom!

You can turn both the first and second layer or just one at a time. It instantly made our living pretty elegant. Wife was so happy. I definitely recommend.

Gives a modern touch to our master bedroom. The K-9 crystals create a stunning illumination. Would highly recommend River of Goods products to everyone!

The lighting fixture is elegant and the fani itself works quietly. The lighting could be a bit brighter, but for our smaller office room it lights up the room well enough. Overall, this is a top class product for great value.
