Q: Why do the cool white look blue

A: When LED light has bluish cast to it, the Kelvin # is closer to 3500. Look up Kelvin for the description of what those numbers mean; it helps when choosing light bulbs for your lamps too.

Q: Is this made to plug into the tree? We have a 7' tree and the cord is not long enough to reach a wall plug.

A: With most of them, you have to use an extension cord or plug them into your lights on the tree.

Cool Light is VERY Cool- almost blue
I love the shape of this tree topper and the hint at a retro shape but the cool light throws off the whole look of my tree. It is definitely not worth $40. I am either not going to be able to use it or I’ll have to add cool light to my otherwise vintage tree.

Very pretty topper
I've been searching for a starburst topper for a while. and this one lights up so that's a big plus. It's a bit tricky to get the shape right and it doesnt exavtly look like the photo. No matter how I worked it, some of the ends are a bit crooked. But overall it looks super nice on the tree.

Does't twinkle, it goes nuts.
Twinkle madness. Would be lovely if it had a steady-only mode. The twinkle is manic plus a gallon of caffeine. Returning to target.

The clip on made it easy
My tree was not the easiest to mount a topper on, but the clip-on made it easy. It has warm and. cool white lights, with only the cool white lights blinking (see video). Even when it’s off, the sparkly gold makes it look great! I use a smart plug (not included) to turn it on and off using Alexa.

Perfect for my Twinkle Tree
I purchased this on a whim at Target after my previous tree topper went out. I didn't know what to expect because the reviews were mixed especially regarding the light patterns. The minute my kids walked in the room and saw it, they loved it. I love the different shades of white and the twinkling. You can also bend the star arms so if they did come bent during shipping, you can straighten them out.

deceiving
this is deceiving. the twinkle doesn't turn off. and it twinkles cool, which makes the warm white look cool. it's never going to match my tree. there is no way to make it steady only. return!

Colors are not symmetrical
This is a great quality but I do not love the mixture of warm white and cool white. I also want to make known the warm white is steadily on and only the cool white lights twinkle. The mixture of light colors are not symmetrical which is awkward. It has a sparkle paint that doesn’t come off too much on your hands.
