It is absolutely beautiful, no doubt. But the second time I tried to use it, the base detached from the platter. Looks like it was held together with glue. I’ll have to glue it back together.

I bought this in June 2023, and much like the other reviewer, this spontaneously broke on me a few days ago! This was never washed in the dishwasher, and only hand washed in warm water. Broken in the same way as the other - perhaps a seam or batch gone wrong. Do not buy!

This was the most beautiful cake plate I’ve ever seen. I bought it just after the holidays and used it a few times and in March, it spontaneously broke. I thought it might have just been a fluke, and I loved it so much, I bought another one and within a couple of months, this one too, spontaneously broke. I also bought the 7 in. plate, and by some miracle, it has not broke yet.

It’s pretty and big enough for a good sized cake or a lot of desserts. The top tray is crooked. I didn’t notice it at first but at eye level, it’s all I see. I’ll still keep it for future parties.

I recently gave this cake stand to someone as a gift and it was a hit! She plans on using it for serving dessert (of course), but also cheese boards and appetizers when she's entertaining. The textured detailing and blue color are beautiful, and the glass definitely feels sturdy, but not too heavy. Definitely recommend!
