8 X 10 Awning
This is not 2nd Outsunny awning. The first one lasted 4 years being out 24-7-365. We had a lot of problems with the first one as the directions are vague, but the 2ND one was easier since we had the first one to copy from. It would be a lot easier if they would specify how far from the ends the arms went where they attached to the part with the valence (when extended). Some better illustrations might help. We took pictures so we will be prepared for our next awning. For the price you cannot beat this product

Instructions need work!
Spent 8 hours Saturday putting this together and installing it. Could have probably done it in 3 hours if the instructions have been better written and including better diagrams. But now that it is up, pretty happy overall. The quality is pretty good for the price. Have to see how it fairs the test of time.

I love this awning!
Love the way it looks. I got the 12x8 and installed it over our deck. It was pretty straightforward.? The hand crank is so easy to use. It takes maybe 20-30 seconds to open or close it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The item arrived in good condition, nothing damaged or broken. It was super easy to install. It is well build, and strong. Opens and closes very easy. Overall a good product that I recommend at this price point.

Great buy - Good price
Beautiful and easy to operate. Note that it is heavy and requires additional support - we bought two separate wall mounting brackets and the installation is pretty solid. Will probably buy another one, as it is a really inexpensive alternative for covered patios.

Highest recommendation for this awning
Great awning; functions well; had to mount it on a frame for my particular structure. This thing is very sturdy, the ONLY retractable awning that I could get under 8' and fairly easy to install.

1. Parts list should be associated with description and numbering system. Not only just by 3 dimensional drawings. 2. English Language not translated correctly, and in some cases not understandable. 3. Assembly descriptions need to be more defined. Product well manufactured and good quality for the price

Quite good awning for a nice price!
I like the quality of the awning, I've had it now for 2+ months, use them both daily, to block sun. Functionally they work well, and the awning fabric seems substantial, although they've not yet gone thru our 'rain' season. The hardware seems good quality and so far functions well and seems durable.

It was ok to install. What hung me up was attaching the awning to the roll. They're is a long plastic piece that pushes through both the end of the awning and the metal roll. I would get it close then it would catch on something and stop going. The rest of install was easier. I used lag bolt to go into the side of my little shed. I made sure to pre drill then used my drill to secure them. I'm overall pleased with the appearance. That awning attachment though had me at the end of my patience but it turned out nice.

Nice product once it's installed
This awning is nice and easy to install, and you can put the hand crank mechanism on the right side. A little disassembly and moving it to the right side using an adjustable wrench. And for the price, it's well worth it.

need a converstion chart since all measurements are in circumference
assemble was easy until the last end ,it kept turning at the last minute,so have a lot of patience.The instructions are alittle hard to understand ,but there are alot of videos to watch that make it easy

Nice awning. Great price. Instructions a little confusing.
Love the awning but the instructions were a little confusing at first. I laid out all the pieces then between reading the instructions and looking at pictures I figured it out. Start to finish my wife, two Daughters and I had it up in three hours.

Well designed, attractive awning!
We ordered "red" 12' by 8' awning, and we were pleased that it is "wine red". Instructions not too clear, but 2 of us managed to install in about half a day. Now that it is up, we're very happy with the product. It seems sturdy and opens and closes easily. Really do love it!
