So tacky!
This star tree topper is so cheap looking in person and is way overpriced. It is one sided and the back is flat. When the star is not lit you can see through the clear plastic and see all the diode strips lights. This thing is so ugly! When it is lit, it looks like running lights on an air strip. In fact, if you have trouble with seizure or migraine triggers avoid this thing like the plague. Nothing about this light says Christmas! I returned this piece of junk. I did like the clip that holds it on the tree.

Returned. This star does not light up and the back is flat -- not good for displaying a tree if it has more then one visible side.

Ugly, cheap
You can see all the LED components when it’s lit: the diodes, the tape, the circuits. It looks terrible. It is one-sided, so it must be on a corner or wall tree. The cord and plug are white, so with a green tree it’s very visible. I cut the cord off mine and have it unlit for this season. I’ll throw it out in January.

Not great for the price
This star is okay but not worth $40. It is flat on the back and enclosed with thin, plastic sheets that become transparent when you turn it on. The LED strips are just not nice to look at. It does have 3 light settings and the plastic frame is sturdy, finished in a nice gold. Maybe I wouldv've kept it if the covering were more opaque, however I will be returning.

You can literally see the diodes of the star looks so cheap and it’s not even double sided. At the store it was so deceptive. For the price that’s ridiculous.

I seriously can’t believe how expensive this is for the quality you get. I purchased on sale and even at $24 it’s a complete rip off. It’s all plastic material and feels so cheap. The lights on it are very basic and the product photos of course make it looks like its a nice warm glow. The photo and video I attached look much warmer than in person. It is much more cool white than my other “warm white” lights we have up. I wouldn’t pay more than $10 for this, even that feels like a rip off. I miss quality materials.

Go with another option
It honestly looks better unlit, than lit. It’s too heavy and cannot stay upright. Cord is too short for a 7’ tree, which isn’t a deal breaker…I can run an extension cord to it. It just continues to lean from weight no matter what I do it. Returning it tomorrow.

Too heavy to be tree topper
The cord is not long enough for a 6 foot or taller tree. It’s too heavy and the slightest movement of the cord or tree causes the star to slump over. It is only lit in the front and you can’t get that 360 view. Maybe I can hang it on the wall as a decoration.

You may need to bend the top branch down or gather several branches together to create a strong attachment point. To improve stability, gather more branches and/or position slightly lower on the tree. Make sure your tree topper fits securely around the branches. Pretty, classy looking. Cord too short.
This is an interesting topper, with the white lights tracing out in the stars…you can set the lights to solid or racing. It is one dimensional (the back is just flat plastic) and feels a bit light, but I think that is ok, because if it were too heavy, it would fall. But, if you do not have an outlet near the top of the tree (I.e. your lights end with a female plug near where the star goes) you will have to plug it separately into the wall, and the cord is not long enough, depending on how big your tree is (mine is 7.5’). The cord is super taut, and it is not great. Also, it would be nice to not have to reach around to find the control box (which is on the cord…like midway) and instead have a remote to change then light pattern.

Golden star tree topper beautiful
What a lovely star tree topper that’s in golden color and it has LED lights throughout. It looks absolutely gorgeous on our tree. Yes we put the tree up already in November! Our tree is 7.5 ft so this star is perfect size for it.

I didn’t buy a tree topper for a couple years because I’m picky, but I love this one! I will say, the one downfall is the cord is white, which makes it a little hard to hide within the tree. I also wish the lights would flash a little different but that’s not a huge deal for me.
