Q: How do we connect the pinecones to the lights? Do we force it from the bottom because it is tight? There was no instructions on how to connect them. Thank you.

A: Remove the hard rubber piece at bottom of each pinecone. I used a chopstick to do this and also to widen the inside of it. Then carefully twist the light through the rubber piece from bottom up.

Do not buy!
Fall apart and the lights are really dim. They would be going back but I threw the box away. Absolute trash and a waste of money. The lights do not stay inside the pine cones so you cannot hang them.

Skip this purchase.
You have to assemble the pinecones onto the lights and then they don't stay put. The pinecones fall off the lights easily which makes hanging them a challenge. The pinecones fall apart fairly easy too. Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased them in the store. I'm okay with the soft golden light they admit but they were not worth the price.

Like’s the pinecone lights and effect. Disliked- The 10 pinecones come separate from the lights. You have to assemble the pinecone’s onto the lights and cord! Sounds easy enough but the little plastic piece that you have to insert the lights into is not big enough - so, I had to take a screwdriver and put into each individual pinecone to stretch the plastic out to push the light up inside! Also, the pinecones break easily, so be very cautious when applying pressure!

Absolutely useless item. Why are we asked to assemble these lights? Holes are way too small and there's no way to push in the lights without breaking them. When we after much work managed to get one on, it fell off immediately. My daughter was excited to receive these lights but they turned out to be a huge disappointment and waste of money. Stop selling crap.

bring back the plug in strands that don't fall apart
the previous years version plugged in and strands could be connected and set to a timer. these battery pack strands will not stay on the led lights, break if you attempt to push them back on amd involve hiding do many battery packs that are not on a timer

Cute idea, but the light is super dim.
Cute idea, but the lights are so tiny that barely any light shines through the pinecones, even in the dark. Assembling the string was a pain, as well. The pinecone holes were not big enough for the light (yes, I lined up the notched parts) and had to get out my handy drill to make the pinecone holes larger. I really wanted to add this string idea to my tree, but have now taken the pineconess off the string (because no light shines through) and am using them as table decor.

Very cute but yes they require assembly, don’t have instructions, and doing it by intuition is a painful mess. I’m covered in glitter with nothing much to show for it. The lights don’t really fit into the pinecones, and when they are made right to fit them, the lights just slide right out instead of staying in place. The lights also aren’t too bright through the pinecone material, which I was fine with because they create a soft warm glow, but if I can’t even assemble them without breaking them and dusting off most of the glitter, I do not think these can be considered a keeper in any instance. Bummer. I would sell these to my worst enemy as a frustrating glitterbomb.

Pro: Very cute and appealing for fall to holiday season decorating. Con: The pine cones fall off the string of lights constantly. You barely have to touch them and they’ll fall off. I have them in a planter, so they’re not being blown by the wind. I don’t think they are truly outdoor compatible - one strand stopped working after 2 days. The price that I saw on the Target app didn’t match the in-store price either which was disappointing. (They were 2x the price!!)

Adorable concept. The lights have to be pushed into the bottom of the pine cones and it is very difficult. The fit is loose and the pine cones fall off. If you use them in a wreath or sitting on a table top they can still work. But if you hang up as shown in photo, some will fall off
