Kids Unisex Cotton Terry Medium Weight Hooded Bath Towel, Large, Ivory - Blue Nile Mills

This is essentially a terry cloth bathrobe for tykes. Before I got it, I wouldn't have realized how much I find myself using it. Now that I do, I find myself putting LT in it after the bath/shower, on the beach, after the sprinklers, etc. The length is perfect for most children between about 28 inches and38 inches in height. Past that, it starts to get a little too short for comfort. The robe has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel substantial. But, if it gets soaked in water...it does get a little heavy. A bit lighter robe wouldn't be unappreciated.While it has a good length and heft, I do wish that it had a softer interior. This isn't any softer than the harshest terry cloth kitchen towel I've ever used, but it sits right up against gentle toddler skin, which is not ideal. A nicer internal lining would have been much appreciated.

just like other reviews mentioned, sizes run small. Material isn't exactly in high quality, so we returned it.

Less soft, more scratchy.

We ordered size 3-4 and I can't imagine her wearing it before she is at least 5. Sizing is way off and VERY generous for the sizes posted.

Nice robe. Belt loops needed to be sewn on properly as they came off right away. Otherwise perfect for kids.

This bath robe is so absorbent and warm. I love the material. It definitely feels like a luxury robe!

My only complaint which is a big one to me is the robe is way too shallow. My 8 yo is tall and skinny so I ordered the large. It barely wraps around him. Like only a few inches of coverage. The robe is soft, thick, and well made. But this is to replace his towel that he always fumbled with and flashed us, just to have his schnitzel flopping out with this robe.

Wish I had one of these robes in my size because it is so attractive, well made and comfy. Since it is suitably sized for a young child, I am enjoying it vicariously by watching a three year old wrap the soft Egyptian cotton terry robe around his adorableness. I love the hood but he isn't eager to keep it covering his head for too long. I expect this will change after the pool is filled and he realizes that he can snuggle in this, warm up, then jump back in for a swim. The design is universal, hooded robe, front pockets and waist tie belt. All stitching is securely stitched with no crooked or opened seams and the fabric is of a good quality. It softens even more with washing.

Beautiful bathrobe. Very nice quality. A little pricey but worth it.

I got the ' small/medium' which is a perfect fit for my 3 year-old boy (average sized)--it comfortably wraps around him and comes down past his knees, but doesn't drag on the ground. The cloth is not as soft as something like fleece, but it is soft for a towel and it absorbs like one. The hood is a nice addition, too, to keep him warm when he gets out of the bath.The only bad thing with this is that now big sister wants one, too...

Bought this for my 5-year-old and he loves it. The color is vibrant and the material is super soft!!! Very comfortable.

This robe is so nice! My son wanted a robe after watching Home Alone, but I couldn't find one I liked at the store. Most robes you will find for kids are made of cheap fleece. This robe is made with thick terry cloth (imagine your favorite bath towel). Size large was slightly big for my tall 6 year old, but he doesn't mind.

Love this for my little guy! He is 14 months so it is a little big. He will grow into it soon. He looks adorable after bath time in his robe!

I got this robe for my 7-year-old daughter to use after her bath. I was a little concerned about the size being correct for her, but it fits her perfectly. When I removed the robe from the packaging, it had an unpleasant smell, but I washed it before use and the smell disappeared. My daughter likes getting out of the bath and putting her robe on right away. She likes that it has a hood to help dry her hair, as well as a belt to hold it closed. The robe is slightly above her knees when she's wearing it, so we dry her lower legs and feet with the robe before putting it on. The material is nice and thick, soft and very absorbent. It washes well in the washing machine and dries well in the dryer, but it can take a while to air dry in between uses when I hang it on a hook in the bathroom since the material is so thick. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a thick, soft and absorbent robe for their child!
