A: Thank you for your interest in this product. Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Step 2: Pull the bulb and plastic base straight out of bulb holder. Step 3: Replace lamp with only 12 Volt, 0.96 Watt, Super Bright type spare lamps (provided with product). Way worse than previous years
Flat back! Previous versions of this exact star were actual stars with a front and back. Now they raised the price and made it worse. Please go back to the older versions next year, Target and get your classy rep back. This is just...clunky.

Poor remake of the old one
I bought a similar topper a few years back that I loved. I was sad to find this year that it no longer worked, but was excited to see Target was still selling the item. I even bought two. Unfortunately, instead of having the mercury look ok both sides, it is flat gray plastic on the back, which can also be seen from the sides. It looks so cheap. Also, for some reason the cord is like 3 feet long so you have to find a way to hide it in the tree branches. I am returning both.

This star looks so pretty on my tree! The front has this stained-glass look that feels really high-end. I was a little surprised that the back is just plastic and not the same material, but honestly you can’t tell once it’s on the tree. I’ve had it on for over two weeks now and it stays put with no issues. Even though it’s partly plastic, it still looks really nice and way more expensive than it is. I’m really happy with it!
