They do require handwashing, but air dry quickly. I loved how smooth the silk feels on my skin. My husband thought it felt a little too cool, but knows how nice that will be in the summer. We both have slept very well with these new pillowcases.

NOT REAL SILK. Please do not buy this it is not real SILK. If you know your silk you know this is not actually silk. I'm very upset bcuz for the price they're asking for is crazy for PLASTIC. Do NOT Buy if you want real silk. And if you're ok with satin, you can find it for much cheaper! This is a scam and I don't understand how target is allowing them to sell this product on their website.

It’s satin not silk. Inside feels like plastic. I compared this pillowcase to real silk and polyester and it feels like polyester, very different from silk.

What a difference silk pillowcase makes for my hair
I am thrilled with my new silk pillowcase because I was able to find them in a king WITHOUT a zipper. My old silk pillowcases fell apart at the zipper so I didn’t want to repeat that. I don’t know why I was so worried about not having a zipper, this pillowcase fits my big memory foam pillow easily and covers the pillow 100% all night without problem. The silk is amazing for my hair- no frizz. I’ve already washed it once without issues. I highly recommend

A silk pillowcase does a lot to lesson wrinkles and wild hair.I don't think I could ever go back to a time when I thought cotton pillowcases were the best.I believe that through trial and error the silk pillowcase has proven beneficial in my experience.

Unbreatheable Material Causes Overheatinf
As others mentioned, this case does not fit standard size pillows. I tried it anyway, leaving the zipper open just to have a silky case and hopefully stop my hairs being pulled out when tossing and turning. It was very annoying feeling the zipper, but the smoothness did help the hair pulling issue. However the material is NOT breatheable at all, causing me to wake up with enough neck sweat (gross sorry) to cause skin irritation. At first I thought it was other stress or the weather changing etx but finally gave up last night and tore the case off, which made me realize that it was the case causing this major overheating. I’ve had silky cases before and never had this issue, so I just can’t use or recommend this particular case’s material quality, especially at the price point.

I love the variety of colors this comes in, and the zipper is a game changer! No more having to adjust the pillow case in the middle of the night because it’s slipping off my pillow. These pillowcases are soft, cool, and have made a big difference in my hair. I’ve only had them a few months however, and they seem to have yellowed a lot. I’ve followed the wash instructions and never bleached them. I only wash with my other whites. Other than that they have held up better than other silk pillowcases.

Absolutely. Worth every penny! I use the standard for a leg pillow and the silk feels absolutely incredible. I love that it's zippered so if I am tossing and turning, the pillow stays in.
