    Great coat. The one I would pick if I could have only one coat.

    It Shrunk

    I had to wash it. I washed it on cold water, delicate cycle. I dried in on low delicate for the least amount of time it required to dry. I can't believe this material shrunk so easily! I also have the short jacket and now this long jacket is barely longer than the short jacket. I'm very disappointed. Also, they're not as warm as they describe but the style and color options are nice.

    Happy to find tall sizes here

    Love this color, vintage blue. Not quite as dark as navy, more like a deep gray blue. I am 5'11" and usually wear a size 4, but often order a medium in a coat or jacket for more room. Ordered this in a tall small/medium and it fits nicely but is not roomy. Feels like a size 6 to me, so I'd say size up if you like more room for sweaters/layers. Jacket covers my rear and is very lightweight, so perfect for a quick run to the store without the heaviness of a parka.

    Not good enough

    Ok. But the lack of a two way zipper on a coat this long is ridiculous. People drive and sit down and we would prefer not to relive our years feeling like we are stuffed into a snowsuit.

    The sleeves are ridiculously short. I purchased a size bigger than needed hoping the sleeves would be long enough. If they were about 3” shorter, this coat would work. Everything else on the coat fits great.

    I love the coat it's nice and warm. The sleeves are way too short. They are 2 inches shorter than my other jackets. my wrists stick out. I'm disappointed Lands End. First product I have ever purchased from you that disappointed me.

    Thin but cozy

    I've been sitting outside in 40° F and 20 mph wind for about an hour and I am surprisingly comfortable! This jacket is very lightweight and attractive. One star off for the arms being too short. Land's End is going to give me a complex about my arm length.

    Warm and light

    Nicely made and surprisingly easy to fit into pocket found sewn inside the jacket. The only thing that I found disappointing was that the zipper does not have an opening at the bottom. I purchased a Tall XL and was pleased with the length of the sleeves.

    Great jacket, just like the description. No bottom zip. Very disappointed in that. I bought the knee length version of the exact same coat earlier this year and it has both top and bottom zippers. How much more can it cost to include the bottom zip? It should be a staple, not an extra. It’s so convenient, especially on a long drive.

    Awesome jacket!

    I was worried about the arm length as that seems to be an issue. I’m 5’3” 125lbs. I wear a size 4-6. Normally purchase small regular and not petite. I ordered the small tall. It gives me an inch of extra length in the body and sleeves. So when I move around everything still stays covered and warm. Arms are not too long standing still and waist still hits at correct place and jacket itself isn’t too long. Very lightweight and warm without bulk which is what I love. Hope this is helpful to others that are worried about arm length.

    Great jacket

    I absolutely love this jacket. It’s my perfect fitting, comfortable go-to jacket for most trips. It’s good in a fairly cold season, breaks some wind, and isn’t at all bulky. I’d love to see more brighter colors. I have two of these now.

    The good and the bad

    I love the fit and it is warm but not too warm. It packs down really well and is lightweight. The construction is good and it's comfortable in many different temperatures. This is a travel go-to for me. I pair it with a rain jacket (also Land's End) if it's really cold or wet. It says water repellant but I don't think it is. I leaned against the wet car tonight to get groceries out of the trunk and the jacket was drenched where it touched the car. More like water absorbent. I dislike the lack of cuff. All there is, is a thin piece of elastic and if you stretch your arm out whatever you are wearing underneath, pokes out. Air can easily go up the sleeve. This is a design flaw. Needs either a knit cuff or an adjustable cuff with a little longer sleeve. My arms are not long so it shouldn't be too short but it is due to the lack of cuff. I've had this coat for 2 winters now. It's functional and I do wear it often but needs tweaks. It looks good on. I like that the lines are not horizontal like a lot of coats. It gives it a slimming effect.

    I love the style, color, and weight of this jacket. However, it seems odd that a long jacket doesn't have a double zipper. I would have purchased a second one in another color if it could unzip from the bottom for sitting down.

    Brownish Green Jacket

    I b ought this jacket in Evening Forest, thinking it would be a nice dark green. I think the color is more a brownish green and very dark. It wasn't the color that was shown on my computer, so I returned it. Other than the color, the jacket seemed to be well made. I was glad to see that Lands" End now makes women's jackets with adjustable hoods (in the back). Previously only the men's jackets had an adjustable hood (in the back). The adjustment helps tremendously to keep the hood out of one's eyes. The colors this year are too dull/dark. I am hoping that Lands' End brings in some brighter colors next year.

    Slim fit problem.

    I bought this last year and a shorter version the year before. I love the weight of it. I had to choose between a petite medium and petite large. Large was too big through the shoulders and bust. The medium was a little better fit, although it was snug around the waste and hips. I am 4’10”, and thicker around the middle. I wish Lands End would take into account that some customers don’t have slim figures, but have post menopausal bodies. A couple more inches in the waist and hips would make this jacket perfect, at least for this short lady.

    Warm, great fit and perfect sleeve length!

    I was hesitant on purchasing since so many other reviews noted that the length of the sleeves were very short for regular sizes. Even though I am 5 ‘4”, 42” bust , 195 lbs with a long torso, I purchased an XL TALL and the sleeves fit perfect! I love the fact that it also tapers in at the waist, even though I don’t have one😆. The hood is generous and covers my head perfectly for pop up rainstorms.

    Very flattering

    I hate buying jackets I’m tall with freakishly long arms so I can never find coats that have arms that reach down to my wrists except for Lands End. By far my favorite coat is my Down Winter Coat in Dark Stone from 2 seasons ago but due to losing a significant amount of weight it no longer fits. I got this coat in burgundy which is a beautiful color in Med Tall and it is actually a little big on me even with a sweater underneath and the arms stop midway down my hand. I probably could have gotten a small tall. The coat will be nice on a chilly New England day. For reference I’m 5’9” and weigh 152lbs.
